A Faithful Watcher

I am always amazed at Gods understanding of Emotions the way he has taught us through his holy scriptures about discipline, obedience, love, faith and hope through the Psalms and the parables he lovingly showed us his ways and how precious we are to him.

I have seen the people of this world running around their gods of gold, silver and stone calling unto it for their lives to be saved, and I wonder how can it save them? How can something that is merely molded by man or wind or fire which shows no sign of life!! Give life back to your dying loved ones?!!

And they go through their motions and ritual everyday not knowing the god that holds their breath in them!

Is it so difficult to serve a living god that asks nothing from you except your presence and love for him? is it difficult to believe that god doesn't want you to walk bare foot to Israel or his church for him to bless you? God doesn't ask you to roll on the floor to get to his church! God loves us the most; he hates it when we are in pain!

I have noticed how people run behind their gods, who hear nothing see nothing and have no life in them,

Hosea 3:1

The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.

But I have never seen a mighty powerful living god and creator pursue his creation caring, healing, feeding and loving us every single day in hopes that his beloved bride would return to him! How great is his love for us!

Isaiah 54:5

For your Maker is your husband
the Lord Almighty is his name
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth.

God has always come to us every time we have tried to hide and run away he came to us and lifted us up, beginning from Eden when Adam hid from the creator, yet the holy lord looked for him

Genesis 3:9

But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

Calling Israel out of Egypt from bondage

Exodus 3:7-10

The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

Every day the lord god calls us to him with love yet we seek love everywhere in this world, instead of looking at the love in Jesus we look for it in the trash that is this world corrupt and impure. If we look into his eyes we will find a love that never fades he holds us steady when we stumble

Psalms 37

23 The Lord makes firm the steps
    of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

Let us all be faithful to him in all things and wait for his return always watching, let us surrender our hearts to him for he is the bridegroom who will arrive at midnight

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

“‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

A quote

Lord give me strength to wait for you to be ready in my mind body and spirit to submit myself to you,

I look to the night sky, I peer into the big clouds waiting for your glorious return

Help me to be a faithful watcher let my eyes be focused on you continually my heart submitted to you because you keep me safe,

Shield and shelter me under your mighty wings when I walk in the wilderness be my fountain of water,

Wash me with your blood through and through let me be spotless in your presence

Pour out your holy spirit upon me and claim me to be yours for eternity!
