To really get a glimpse of why the Sabbath is so special one really has to look at god’s creation, when we look deeply into it we feel ecstasy and peace maybe god created us this way we are always amazed at the wonderful creations of god it surpasses our imagination we can never fathom his knowledge and one can only imagine how loving this lord is who is the creator of this universe his heart is tender he is the source of all love! And one will wonder how I can know whether he is loving and kind? The answer is simple look at the love that living breathing creature has for its offspring that they are ready to put their own life on the line to save their offspring!!
What is this feeling it the result of god’s power he poured out his unconditional love into our hearts. Every time we see this we feel god’s presence around us he is still looking after us still feeding the creature’s of this planet in the air in the sea and on the land, what a wonderful god we have! He lives among us! Every time we feel the warmth of the sun on our skin in the biting cold we know that it is indeed gods power, when the first drops of rain fall to the earth after the scorching heat the earth rejoices spreading an aroma called 'Petrichor' we know that it is god’s magnificence, this force this power that drives the planets the sun the moon the stars in the heavens these massive galaxies!
The sweet scent of the flowers! No matter how humans advance we cannot compare to gods potential in any way, there is peace in the way of the lord almighty!
The rainbow, the dew drops, the mist, the might of the thunder all is proof that god is always with us and the bible gives us some beautiful quotes about the presence of god his glory and his majesty!!
PSALM 8
1 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
in the heavens.
2 Through the
praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your
enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I
consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is
mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?[c]
5 You have made them[d] a little lower
than the angels[e]
and crowned them[f] with glory and
honor.
6 You made them
rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their[g] feet:
7 all flocks and
herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in
the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
PSALM 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of
God;
the
skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night
after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no
words;
no
sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice[b] goes out into all
the earth,
their
words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like
a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and
makes its circuit to the other;
nothing
is deprived of its warmth.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing
the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are
trustworthy,
making
wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving
joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are
radiant,
giving
light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring
forever.
The decrees of the Lord are
firm,
and
all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold,
than
much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than
honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
in
keeping them there is great reward.
12 But who can discern their own
errors?
Forgive
my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful
sins;
may
they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent
of great transgression.
14 May these words of my mouth and this
meditation of my heart
be
pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 33
1 Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;
it
is fitting for the upright to praise him.
2 Praise the Lord with the harp;
make
music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
3 Sing to him a new song;
play
skillfully, and shout for joy.
4 For the word of the Lord is right and true;
he
is faithful in all he does.
5 The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
the
earth is full of his unfailing love.
6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
their
starry host by the breath of his mouth.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea
into jars[a];
he
puts the deep into storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;
let
all the people of the world revere him.
9 For he spoke, and it came to be;
he
commanded, and it stood firm.
10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations;
he
thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
the
purposes of his heart through all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is
the Lord,
the
people he chose for his inheritance.
13 From heaven the Lord looks down
and
sees all mankind;
14 from his dwelling place he
watches
all
who live on earth—
15 he who forms the hearts of all,
who
considers everything they do.
16 No king is saved by the size of his army;
no
warrior escapes by his great strength.
17 A horse is a vain hope for
deliverance;
despite
all its great strength it cannot save.
18 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on
those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
19 to deliver them from death
and
keep them alive in famine.
20 We wait in hope for the Lord;
he
is our help and our shield.
21 In him our hearts rejoice,
for
we trust in his holy name.
22 May your unfailing love be with
us, Lord,
even
as we put our hope in you.
ISAIAH 43:19-21
19 See,
I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not
perceive it?
I am making a way in the
wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in
the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my
chosen,
21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
JOB 37
1 “At this my heart pounds
and
leaps from its place.
2 Listen! Listen to the roar of
his voice,
to
the rumbling that comes from his mouth.
3 He unleashes his
lightning beneath the whole heaven
and
sends it to the ends of the earth.
4 After that comes the sound of his
roar;
he
thunders with his majestic voice.
When his voice resounds,
he
holds nothing back.
5 God’s voice thunders in
marvelous ways;
he
does great things beyond our understanding.
6 He says to the snow, ‘Fall on
the earth,’
and
to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’
7 So that everyone he has made may know
his work,
he
stops all people from their labor.[a]
8 The animals take cover;
they
remain in their dens.
9 The tempest comes out from its
chamber,
the
cold from the driving winds.
10 The breath of God produces ice,
and
the broad waters become frozen.
11 He loads the clouds with moisture;
he
scatters his lightning through them.
12 At his direction they swirl around
over
the face of the whole earth
to
do whatever he commands them.
13 He brings the clouds to punish
people,
or
to water his earth and show his love.
14 “Listen to this, Job;
stop
and consider God’s wonders.
15 Do you know how God controls the
clouds
and
makes his lightning flash?
16 Do you know how the clouds hang
poised,
those
wonders of him who has perfect knowledge?
17 You who swelter in your clothes
when
the land lies hushed under the south wind,
18 can you join him in spreading out
the skies,
hard
as a mirror of cast bronze?
19 “Tell us what we should say to him;
we
cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.
20 Should he be told that I want to
speak?
Would
anyone ask to be swallowed up?
21 Now no one can look at the sun,
bright
as it is in the skies
after
the wind has swept them clean.
22 Out of the north he comes in golden
splendor;
God
comes in awesome majesty.
23 The Almighty is beyond our reach and
exalted in power;
in
his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress.
24 Therefore, people revere him,
for
does he not have regard for all the wise in heart?
Amen!!
